Slay of the Day- Summer Glam
Similar to spring, use of bold, vibrant colours in summer time makeup is a go to. But when it comes to concealers and foundation you have to be careful in choosing or applying as the weather can get hot and humid and you don't want your makeup to melt and slide off your face. Today I'll share some tips on how to avoid this and some tips to give you the best summer look.
Moisturizer
While it's important to moisturize your skin, try using a moisturizer that's oil free.
Primer
This is a plus to use in the summer time as it helps keep your makeup in place.
Concealer and Foundation
Avoid using heavy or cream concealers and foundation as these tend to crease easily and cake up. Instead trying using a liquid foundation applying the 'less is more' rule or a tinted moisturizer applying concealer where necessary and finish with loose powder.
Mascara
Since summer is usually about hitting the beach opt for using a water proof mascara to avoid it from running down your face or giving you raccoon eyes.
Eye Shadow
Ensure that you use an eye shadow primer before applying your eye shadow to give it more staying power to last longer. Then you can go crazy with vibrant and vivid colours.
Now you're ready for summer.
I hope you find these tips helpful in creating your summer looks.
