Slay of the Day- Spring Glam

Spring makeup is all about using beautiful vibrant colours. Some of the colours used are hues in yellow, green, blue, pink, orange and purple, with orange, coral or nude lips to match. The possibilities for eye shadow looks are endless, using just one colour in different shades, or a combination of colours.

Today I will show you some of the makeup looks trending, and a few tips to achieve one of the looks. For a night out you can try this simple smoked out orange eyes, or green smoke, or have a fun day with a popping yellow.

If you want to achieve this fun look below here are some tips to follow.

  • Start by applying an eye shadow primer or concealer and let it dry
  • Apply a neutral base shadow to your lids
  • Add a rust red shade to your lid and blend out to the crease
  • Add an orange to the crease blending it out upwards just below the brow bone
  • Ensure that you blend the two colours at the crease in a left to right or circular motion so that it doesn't show a separation.
  • Line the lid with black liquid liner to get your wing
  • Add a purple shade under the eyes and blend to give a smoked effect and apply mascara to finish the eyes.
  • Add a coral or orange lipstick to complete the look.

  • Add a peach blush to accentuate your look.
